Bron is discrediting himself. He's basically saying MJ gets too much credit cuz his team won a few finals games AFTER MJ did the heavy lifting. But that's EXACTLY what LeBron had done most of his career. Should we give Bron LESS credit for his success then?

It's a stupid argument that's easily dismantled. Bron deserves his credit, just like Jordan. Bron's whining because he's finding it hard to crack that throne space and only sees 1 modern obstacle. Which I understand, but all he has to do is win a few more and it'll handle itself. Accept the challenge and be great.

Is he afraid last year was his last hurrah? Feeling the slippage?

I dunno but I think he can get at least 2 more and that would give him a very STRONG argument. 3 would finish it all off. You want to be the best, you have to accomplish herculean tasks. Given his mishaps, he has more ground to cover.

Yup and in 88 Pippen and Grant were rookies.
In 89 and 90 they were second and 3rd year players.

Wade was a finals MVP in his 8th season in the prime of his career
Bosh was a perennial allstar in his 8th season hitting the prime of his career

Cry.
