but if he signed this deal for a chance to start for sure and he could have done better, does that mean someone was going to pay him more as a potential 1B/#2 point guard? that doesnt sound right. i dunno, i would not give him the keys to the whip, personally. think he is great in an expanded backup role but that's about it.
