an "every down" back is really more of a 1st and 2nd down back...and another guy is a 3rd down back.....
to be more specific... McCaffery fits more the role of a 3rd down guy..or a guy you could use in the slot at times..
he's more Danny Woodhead..
which again isn't a bad thing...
but in the NfL draft....guys who are seemingly more "carry the load" type of backs usually go before guys like McCaffery..
