Baseball writer of all ppl does not validate your point lmao

That was a bullshit article and its clear you had to do a google search just to find this piece of fluff LOL - dude talmbout Jordan should average 12apg instead of 5.5apg lol, really? 12apg? Bird never averaged double-digit assists and he wasn't the scorer Jordan was - has CP3 ever averaged 12 dimes ...not once did he mention that Jordan shot .482% from the field which is pretty high for someone who averaged in the high 30s and the following season he averaged 35ppg (.535%) and the season after that 32.5ppg (.538) along w/*8* rebs and *8* apg which demonstrated that MJ was always a great all-around playe which Melo is NOT...

It wasn't that Jordan was their best scorer because if he was shooting in the low to mid 40s FG% then there would've been a case to make that he should've made an effort to get his teammates involved or that he was a ball hog but the genius of Jordan was that he was simply an offensive juggernaut because he played to his offensive strenghts by taking good and efficient shots - he wasn't just chucking up bad shot after shot like Melo, Bean, or Westbrook

You forgot that he's known around the league as a "ball-stopper" who shoots a low pct. from the floor and who isn't anywhere close to being the facilitator that Jordan was and who no other elite player (see:Jared Dudley) seems to want to play w/him despite being in the media capital - plenty of players wanted to play w/MJ and we now know you could build a team around Jordan's skill set which further makes "your" claim moot that Jordan was a ball hog but we see that's far from the case w/Melo
