2484247, Loser & bad teammate Paul George complains about playing PF to help team

“I don’t know if I’m cut out for a 4 spot... I don’t know if this is my position. We’ll sit and watch tape and I’m sure I’ll talk with coach (Frank Vogel). I’ll talk with Larry (Bird) as well to get both their inputs on how the first game went, but … I’m still not comfortable with it regardless of the situation. It’s still something I have to adjust to or maybe not. Or maybe it’s something we can go away from.”

That doesn't sound like a guy willing to make sacrifices and do what it takes to help his team. George even explicitly stated his selfish me-first attitude saying that keeping him happy is more important than doing what's in the best interests of the team:

"when asked how much of a say he'll have in the decision while meeting with local reporters, George added: "I hope a lot. I hope my happiness comes first in this whole ordeal but, again, I'm not someone that's going to kill a locker room."

Good thing he's not someone that's going to kill a locker room at least... except for when he threw his teammates under bus by publicly airing their private concerns to deflect criticism from himself:

“We’re playing around with this style now and trying to figure some things out, but it’s not just myself,” George said. “Four other guys out there, it’s an adjustment for them. We all talk. A couple other guys are uncomfortable with how we’re going to run it and things like that. It’s new to everyone.”

Meanwhile Carmelo selflessly puts his team first and is willing to make sacrifices and play out of position at PF to help his team:

"Part of the way to maximize Melo's ability as he starts creeping toward his mid-30's could be using him much more as a power forward.
...That also seems to be something he's open to coming into this season and said he's "pretty sure" we'll see him play the 4."

Paul George: selfish, me-first team cancer

Carmelo Anthony: better teammate, better player
