Um, I've said multiple times he should retire.

Always easy for the person not being offered the money to say that. Fact is the organization offered him the deal and he accepted it...financially we've already been over why it was a great deal for the team and he has said it himself, he's not going to be paid below what he is worth...that's a slippery slope precedent to set. I wish he would have taken the pay-cut but I also understand his financial leverage and that he always felt he could still be a top player in the league (obviously not true but his stubbornness made him great, now it's hurting us)

And I said he shouldn't be on the team...so clearly I couldn't care less about if he goes out winning or not. There's a difference between saying that and the extra emo stuff you decided to throw in there as well.
