Melo controls his destiny....He has first trade refusal.....So let's put it all together. The only other teams that would be willing to trade for Melo r teams rebuilding (think the Sixers and the like....)...With Melo in control of his trade rights the Knicks HAVE to play ball to get from under his enormous contract....Melo is only going to a team that can win it all now....And we all know at this point the Knicks want him gone....

At this moment, the Knicks are about getting expiring contracts, picks and a young talented piece....Dat Zingis pick tells u all u need to know....FEEL IS ABOUT TO GO FULL BLOWN REBUILD...Hell, I would give u Portis and McBuckets, or Niko somewhere in there with VETS, a quality draft pick, Taj, and an expiring contract....

But if this trade goes down (which is a dream at this point...lol) I'm not handing over Portis, McBuckets, AND Niko together, a draft pick and a vet for a 31 year old coming off a knee injury....
