etc

And he was 18 years old.

a little context as to what happened is necessary, but the knicks need to be a playoff team next season and everything goes back to phil

just saw the porzingis option. Frying him for next season would be totally unfair.

2461097, They ain't making the playoffs next year. I'm not even sure...
Posted by TheRealBillyOcean, Mon Jun-29-15 10:32 AM
that's the expectation.

It's gonna suck cuz they don't have 1st round pick.

Frying Phil will depend on the moves he makes. Right now he seems like going all rebuild except the Melo signing.

Frying Melo would depend on how he plays and how he acts as a leader.

Frying Fish will depend on he coaches. If he looks lost, we can fry him and Phil for picking him.

I'd fry Donnie cuz he's the one that made moves that lost those picks. That's perfectly reasonable.
2461098, stop listening to basa..grunfield traded away next year's first
Posted by Cenario, Mon Jun-29-15 10:37 AM
What you are blaming donnie for(which we all know was dolan) was for giving denver the option to swap 1sts this coming season. I will allow that Donnie would have been likely to allow that part of the trade anyway though.

>I'd fry Donnie cuz he's the one that made moves that lost those picks. That's perfectly reasonable.
2461100, Fam, I'm not listening to Basa. I don't know who traded the pick.
Posted by TheRealBillyOcean, Mon Jun-29-15 10:43 AM
I assumed it was Donnie.

All I did was a few weeks ago, look to see what picks they had.

Adam Sandler could've walked into the front office and okayed the trade as a part of a Mr. Deeds promo tour.

That shit could be for a Chris Childs signing. I don't know.

Whoever made that trade that resulted in them not having a pick, fry them.
2461104, i only said that bc Basa was perpetuating that lie last week lol

ME and basa just had that convo like on Friday and I never heard anyone blame that on Donnie before.
2461113, donnie gave denver the right to swap in 2016. PERIOD.

denver will have the knicks lottery pick.

i dunno why this bamma pretending it ain't happen.
2461116, #1 that's assuming the knicks don't make the playoffs
Posted by Cenario, Mon Jun-29-15 11:05 AM
#2 what if denver don't make the playoffs? Then that would still be a lottery pick

#3 you said he traded away the knicks 1st rounder. I said he didn't. Whether the pick the knicks kept in that trade winds up being lottery or not, it still would have been a 1st rounder.
2461122, yeah...i know. y'all ain't got no pick. deal.

True....What the Knicks should hope is BOTH Denver and Toronto suck....If all three teams find themselves with high draft picks then the Knicks will still get a good draft pick....The wild card is Toronto....With Lou Williams all but gone it will be interesting to see how all this shakes out...

2461226, Nah the knicks have no first rounder now
Posted by Cenario, Mon Jun-29-15 08:04 PM
They agreed to swap picks with denver. Toronto getz the lower pick courtesy of bargain trade.
2461103, in what trade did the Wiz lose a 2016 first rounder?
Posted by Awburn, Mon Jun-29-15 10:49 AM
Grunfeld did trade the 2014 1st for Gortat, but realgm has the wizards keeping their 2016 first rounder.

nuggets getting y'all BEST pick...and that's DONNIE FAULT. the fact y'all lesser pick going to toronto ain't my concern.

DONNIE FAULT.

you pathetic. at least zeke had to the courtesy to draft y'all some players. donnie and even get that right and phil hasn't either.

2461114, lol it did get rid of the 1st rounder you imbecile.
Posted by Cenario, Mon Jun-29-15 11:03 AM
Denver has the option to switch..which means the knicks still had a 1st rounder. Then, that 1st rounder got traded to Toronto. Now the knicks don't have any. Why don't you understand that lol

>you pathetic. at least zeke had to the courtesy to draft y'all some players. donnie and even get that right and phil hasn't either.

Stephen A came out and said that the prevailing theory in Melo's camp was take the money now and figure out a trade later. Melo wanted money over everything so he lives with the results. Look $100+ million is a great bed to sleep in to hide the fact that he's not winning a chip next year.

So one of u fuckers with a TRADE MACHINE on deck, would a deal like this work?

Knicks deal with the Pels: Asik and Tyreke for Melo....Maybe u find a 3rd team to swoop in if the numbers don't work out...

But I think Melo would be dangerous on a team like the Pelicans. They need a gunner to lift some of that weight off of AD....

Phil either doesn't know what he's doing and he's making decisions that are inconsistent with each other OR he's passively pushing Melo out.

I've said since day one that the Triangle and Melo can't coexist. Trying to build a team around these 2 variables is just asking for too much. You'll always find a player that can play in the Triangle but can't play with Melo and vice versa.
