The reason why no one can check him isn't because Boston doesn't have quality perimeter defense, it's because Kyrie is that damn good and Boston has no defensive anchor to give their perimeter players some margin for error

but if i'm a Cs fan i'm still glad my team didn't tank,
and this experience + the #15 pick are infinitely more
valuable to me than the #10 pick or whatever.
i mean, they're not the 6ers. they were never going to
get a top 3 pick or anything like that. their personnel
+ coach aren't bad enough for that. same argument i made
to pro-tank bulls fans after rose went out last season.
so why not go for the playoffs? if you trust your scouting,
you can find just as good a player at 15 as you can at 10.
get your players some postseason reps and give your fans
some excitement + glimmerings of hope.
