2385204, CFB Saturday Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-01-14 03:11 PM
I refuse to let this tradition die
|
2385207, Shaq Thompson is low-key the best player in CFB. Posted by PROMO, Sat Nov-01-14 03:19 PM
too bad we can't get a big win to give him some shine.
UCLA next week will be interesting.
|
2385213, It will be interesting to see where he plays at in the NFL Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-01-14 03:38 PM
I'm assuming he declares for the draft after this season. With the way he has played RB this season and with the depth that UW has at LB, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Shaq just plays RB for the rest of the season.
Will NFL teams want him at OLB or RB?
|
2385217, yeah, seems like his size (right now)... Posted by PROMO, Sat Nov-01-14 04:00 PM
puts him at safety or RB. however, i feel like teams won't want him at RB since it's not his "natural" position but i could be wrong. i mean, he has natural ability and can make some guys look bad in college but i don't know if he has that TRUE RB instinct to make him a success at the next level.
|
2385334, Thompson will definitely be an OLB Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-01-14 10:55 PM
he's the best coverage linebacker in the country (and better against intermediate routes than a few highly touted safeties in East Lansing and Oxford). his size is fine for the NFL; he's right there with a Thomas Davis or Deandre Levy. even though Grasu kicked his ass in th Oregon game.
three-down backers are first-round backers.
|
2385340, lol Posted by sfMatt, Sat Nov-01-14 11:27 PM
and that's not to say I don't believe in Shaq
|
2385507, don't really see what's so comical about that. Posted by PROMO, Sun Nov-02-14 02:22 PM

2385233, How do UF fans feel about winning this game? Posted by BennyTenStack, Sat Nov-01-14 05:06 PM
Because this more than likely buys Muschamp another year.
|
2385236, yeah, I really don't want to talk about this. Posted by dillinjah, Sat Nov-01-14 05:13 PM
>Because this more than likely buys Muschamp another year.
Just trying to enjoy the moment

2385237, I figured that was the sentiment. Posted by BennyTenStack, Sat Nov-01-14 05:15 PM

2385238, This is incredible Posted by KosherSam, Sat Nov-01-14 05:16 PM
|
2385242, Isn't it against the rules for a coach to run to midfield like that? Posted by KosherSam, Sat Nov-01-14 05:47 PM
|
2385243, I swear fo gawd if anyone tries to soften this UGA loss... Posted by PimpTrickGangstaClik, Sat Nov-01-14 05:56 PM
talking about the toughness of the SEC. Florida is objectively ass. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. UGA better fall completely off the map based on this terrible loss.
|
2385247, Solid offense, not a difference maker at QB Posted by DeepAztheRoot, Sat Nov-01-14 06:01 PM
suspect D that was lights out against Mizzou but had an awful go of it today
Current SEC East leader lost at home to Indiana
|
2385244, Fuck you, UGA. Fuck all of you. Posted by dillinjah, Sat Nov-01-14 05:56 PM

2385245, indeed. that overhead shot of the stadium was beautiful Posted by KosherSam, Sat Nov-01-14 05:59 PM
|
2385246, For all the deserved talk about the SEC West being the best division Posted by DeepAztheRoot, Sat Nov-01-14 06:00 PM
The SEC East is one of the worst
Don't look now but Mizzou is leading again......
|
2385249, so r u saying UF over UGA can't be used in a strength of conference Posted by LegacyNS, Sat Nov-01-14 06:05 PM
argument..
Ok yeah well, UF is pretty shitty so... lol

2385257, Florida is not a good team, a win won't change that Posted by DeepAztheRoot, Sat Nov-01-14 06:31 PM
says more about UGA to me
this helps alleviate the narrative propping them up as a Playoff contender
It's still fun to say the SEC East leader lost to Indiana at home
Both Big Ten divisions are better than the SEC East....reminds me of the Big XII North-South Days when Colorado was getting clobbered by Texas in the title game as the north representation
|
2385310, Yeah I was being sarcastic.. terrible loss for UGA Posted by LegacyNS, Sat Nov-01-14 09:39 PM

2385250, Florida threw the ball 6 times for 27 yards today Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-01-14 06:08 PM

2385265, Oregon is dominating Stanford early Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-01-14 07:29 PM
This is a bit surprising. Oregons offense is having little trouble moving the ball against Stanford's defense.
|
2385341, no it (was)n't Posted by sfMatt, Sat Nov-01-14 11:27 PM
|
2385342, The ease with which Oregon won tonight was surprising Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-01-14 11:32 PM
Me being a Cal fan I was very happy with Oregon winning the way that they did.
|
2385346, they aren't what they once were Posted by sfMatt, Sat Nov-01-14 11:36 PM
and Marcus murdered them by actually using his legs which he was not able to do last year
|
2385459, I agree with SFMatt Posted by DeepAztheRoot, Sun Nov-02-14 01:20 PM
Stanford's offense has been abysmal this year with lack of playmakers
Excitedly looking towards the ASU-Notre Dame showdown this week
|
2385466, Limiting Stanford to only 16 points wasn't surprising Posted by calij81, Sun Nov-02-14 01:32 PM
It was the ease with which Oregons offense moved the ball and scored on Stanford's defense that surprised me.

2385290, Miss State in a dog fight with Arky. 10-10 in the 4th Posted by PimpTrickGangstaClik, Sat Nov-01-14 08:54 PM
Yeah...Arkansas
|
2385299, To be fair, Prescott has a bad wheel Posted by DeepAztheRoot, Sat Nov-01-14 09:27 PM
and that's a big part of their offense, his ability to run
|
2385307, Arky on the move. Trying to take this to OT Posted by PimpTrickGangstaClik, Sat Nov-01-14 09:35 PM
|
2385292, I know we're up 31 at half but Posted by osu_no_1, Sat Nov-01-14 09:00 PM
I feel like msu is gonna fucking destroy us next Saturday. This offense is built to dominate shit defenses like Illinois and Maryland and kent state but it won't stand a chance against the Spartans. We have the weapons but the schemes and plays are all wrong. To me it's the coordination and strategy rather than the execution.
And I knew that the oc thought of himself as a genius, I could tell by his stupid creativity and how they progress when they "open the playbook". Then they actually said he was in Mensa during tonight's game. Lol. What a douche. Yeah we're gonna get smacked in Lansing. Sorry I'm not trying to be a downer, just trying to protect myself against disappointment. Maybe we're saving the best for them. I'll gladly be wrong.
|
2385295, cant even hear the ole miss crowd Posted by falafel stand pimpin, Sat Nov-01-14 09:24 PM

|
2385339, JOSH F****** DOBBS Posted by BennyTenStack, Sat Nov-01-14 11:13 PM
Quarterback of the future. We can really be good next year. He was incredible tonight. Love Worley and think he's a good and tough dude, but thank God he got hurt.
|
2385345, yup Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-01-14 11:36 PM
Worley needed everything to be perfect to make plays and Peterman is deer in the headlights status. Dobbs mobility covers up a lot of line mistakes...he showed his skillset against bama and tonight he showed los huevos.
|
2385343, so OBC really just peaced out of the press conf? lmao Posted by sfMatt, Sat Nov-01-14 11:32 PM

2385344, lasted 42 seconds lol Posted by BennyTenStack, Sat Nov-01-14 11:33 PM
I love that guy.

2385795, Coldest I've ever been at a game... Posted by Frank Mackey, Mon Nov-03-14 10:44 AM
and I've been to some cold Vandy/Kentucky November games in Neyland. Well worth it though after the comeback.
Dobbs makes it look effortless. Everything looks like it's moving in slow motion for him. Future is bright.
|
2385533, Bump for the new avi. Posted by BennyTenStack, Sun Nov-02-14 03:05 PM
Cannot believe we didn't get a penalty on that lol.
|
2385598, the rumors are out there regarding rich Rodriguez and the gators Posted by guru0509, Sun Nov-02-14 05:30 PM
And Jack harbaugh was on the radio saying jim would accept the position right today if it was offered
Id be shocked if pat narduzzi or tom herman are still at msu and tosu next season...
Mark Stoops getting a lot of inquiries as well.
|
2385608, Jim Harbaugh would accept which position if offered? Posted by calij81, Sun Nov-02-14 05:47 PM
I'd assume you are talking about Michigan.
Florida hasn't even opened and Muschamp might have saved himself with the win yesterday.
I can't see RR leaving for Florida even it does open.
|
2385618, where you reading this? I'd be happy with either Posted by dillinjah, Sun Nov-02-14 06:15 PM
>And Jack harbaugh was on the radio saying jim would accept >the position right today if it was offered > >Id be shocked if pat narduzzi or tom herman are still at msu >and tosu next season... > >Mark Stoops getting a lot of inquiries as well.
|
2385625, DickRod would be a better fit for the fanbase Posted by KosherSam, Sun Nov-02-14 06:33 PM
Between Spurrier and Urban, Gator fans aren't happy unless there's a pass-happy, speed-based offense
|
2385690, to clarify...dick rod to the gators, harbaugh to the wolverines Posted by guru0509, Sun Nov-02-14 10:09 PM
And agreed. I think Rich Rod is a good fit provided he hires the right DC
I read these rumors off 24/7 sports and footballinsider something.
