Obviously none of them make it into pro leagues, but you mean just their overall athletic careers-- did they play varsity, D1, d2, d3?


I mean this age is prime intersection sweet spot where girls hit their early growth/maturity spurt and boys havent quite hit puberty yet.


I have an anecdote Im sure ive shared here.

Im Upper elem and middle school there was a girl who played basketball and football with my crew. She was 3 years younger, and while not necessarily the best of the group, she could hang with us. I think we were in 6th and she was in 4th.

She was fast and quick as hell, and just knew how to play sports.

On the other hand, this white girl that was a hell of an athlete in our grade, played travel softball, could play basketball and football with us too, never played college softball.
