He was just accurate and strong enough at that that K didn't demand he kick the ball back out like he does for most of his bigs. We'd feed him for one or two of his little baby hooks per game-- I remember it would drive me bananas that even toward season's end when Redick was getting gassed, we STILL wouldn't try feeding the big man, lol.

Booz was more or less the same way, but again, that probably largely had to do with the talent on that roster-- no reason to feed the post when Booz could get double figures on putbacks and the guys outside can do so much damage.

Ba and I generally have an eye out on the recruiting front for goons. He doesn't need to score, he doesn't need to be that skilled. He needs to work hard on the offensive glass and fuck dudes up with physicality on defense. Lance Thomas and Brian Zoubek were prototype goons.
