Posted by LAbeathustla, Sun Jul-13-14 03:27 PM
plenty of discrepancies unless they mixed it up to balance it out
2350324, need to not dilute NYC and LA with the two team nonsense
Posted by bshelly, Sun Jul-13-14 07:02 PM
LA could go George, Russy, Harden, Kawhi, and Chandler, that's game over right thur.
2350209, pretty much as i expected except ...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Metropolitan_Statistical_Areas

LA is "only" 3.5 bigger than Chicago. Why we splitting up LA and not the Chi, other than, y'all want Chicago to win?
2350501, lolz. loud and wrong.

did you even read that chart?

it lists metro areas (MSA). LA's 2nd.

kawhi leonard isn't from LA metro. he's from riverside (13th)

tyson chandler isn't from LA metro. he's from fresno (56th)

etc.

if you're lumping all of those cats into "LA" then you're talking about the combined statistical area (CSA), where LA's twice as big as chicago (18M vs 9M)

>LA is "only" 3.5 bigger than Chicago. Why we splitting up LA
>and not the Chi, other than, y'all want Chicago to win?
2350521, oh. then that is stupid. point conceded.
Posted by bshelly, Mon Jul-14-14 10:33 AM
2350529, yeah, if you're talking "greater LA" or "the southland" or whatever
Posted by dula dibiasi, Mon Jul-14-14 10:40 AM
then you're including basically all of southern california. which is massive.

i mean, klay thompson and kawhi leonard grew up in completely different cities, more than an hour apart. you might as well combine chicago and milwaukee.
2350539, (and chicago would win anyway)
Posted by dula dibiasi, Mon Jul-14-14 10:51 AM
2350573, tyson chandler went to high school in compton tho
Posted by LAbeathustla, Mon Jul-14-14 11:50 AM

2350491, LOL. 80% of their Sacremento list is b.s.
Posted by mrhood75, Mon Jul-14-14 09:43 AM
San Leandro borders Oakland, and is no where near Sacto. Merced is two hours always. Fresno is three. There are just no good players from that area. Unless maybe KJ comes out of retirement.
2350525, Seattle Supersonics would be pretty fuckin good.
