I was thinking if they give such a short timetable for ALL FA's, then the GM's are screwed. If you put a timetable on the limit of a max (or X dollar amount) of a FA signing, then it would help most everyone. However, the max player is forced to make a huge life decision with a tough timetable (although it's done all the time in the corporate world)
