alot of other players available that can ACTUALLY PLAY basketball
but hey, you're cool with us just acquiring a contract
while other teams are acquiring...hmmm...IDK...ASSETS!!!
we have a young core of guys
best case scenario, they turn into solid NBA players
after their rookie contracts expire in a few years
you think those assets are going to resign with a franchise that is committed to tanking for the duration of thier rookie contracts?
sounds like a solid plan IMO.
