So ok, he lost to Bryan. That makes sense and is a great way to get a pop, but where is this storyline going?

Is he going to lose to all 5 guys and look terrible heading into the PPV and WM?

Are they actually using this to determine who should headling WM based on crowd reaction?

This is a story a face would get, overcome all odds, fight 5 tough wrestlers before what is probably the hardest PPV to come in and out of as champion kayfabe wise. So your top heel gets an overcome all odds storyline? Either that or they are just trying to make him look bad.

Neither of those makes sense to me.
