that's not near all of it...but as a defensive back especially...the nfl and ncaa in the past couple years with rule changes and media strategy have managed to shift responsibility for football being dangerous off their backs.

physical, passionate dudes like sherman got to be the bad guys. so people already hate sherman and then see that interview. instead of recognizing some showmanship they gonna take it too serious.

seattle defense especially ain't trying to hurt nobody, but they got this rep as being dirty cause they'll jam a dude and make a play on the ball.
