Those were deals made b/c each one of star players basically wanted out & it was clear none of the teams trading their stars would be receiving an equal return when the deal was signed. Everyone & their mama knew about it but their career had run its course & that was the best they could get. Nevertheless it doesn't make it any less of a gift. The beneficiaries did nothing but literally hit the jackpot.

It was clear from the beginning that Big Al was nothing more than an over-sized Antwan Jamison.....Ainge had no regards for his talent which is why he was quick to dangle him out as a trade bait meanwhile dumb ass McHale was supposedly fond of Big Al b/c he's a dumb ass. Besides, McHale had already gifted one of the picks earlier when he traded Wally for mupuckin Ricky Davis...who the fuck gives up a better player & a 1st rd pick for a lesser player..McHale.
