..i'm trying to remain optimistic about the current state of my beloved bucs, but it isn't easy.
the dolphins aren't exactly title contenders, but they remain competitive. still, this might be tampa's best opportunity of avoiding the complete catastrophe of a win-less season.
on the flipside, the dolphins are still dealing with the scandal involving martin & incognito.
the only sure bright spots for this week:
doug martin was finally placed on IR (hopefully giving him the best chance @ recovery and resuming a productive career).
warren sapp having his jersey retired and presented with his hall of fame ring @ halftime.
would be nice to cap the night off with a win.

for Miami right now... The Jets have been consistently good since Dan Marino left Miami while Miami has done dick except the 1 year they needed a Jet qb to show them what the playoffs felt like

nothing against miami, but 2 yds rushing for the entire game?
damn.
and that's really not a pat on the back for my beloved bucs either. schiano's refusal to adapt damn-near gave the game away in the air.
i'm also disappointed with Vincent Jackson. I know it's been a tough season, esp dealing with this qb situation, but he's not selling out on routes every down (which eventually allows the opponents to sag on defense.
this team needs leadership in the worst way. it's pretty bad when things are out of synch, and everyone stands around waiting for someone ELSE to step up.
kudos for the defense for stepping it up on miami's final offensive drive.

Bucs blew that game against the jets and the seahawks.
in truth they are aside from the record better than Miami.
the fish are sinking and Richie got that team hostage and talk about a team that wishes the season was over like by Midnight? its a nightmare.
a lame duck coach, hit and alot of miss QB. gonna really miss Reggie Bush and just a marginal team that doesn't even feel lucky to being average even though they should be.
i hate the Bucs coach and what he stands for, however they are a better team than the fish.
bucs got a chance to win 3 more games, i can't say the same for the fish
