She said you would hang out with people and then the next day they were just gone. Never heard from or seen again. She was lucky enough to have gotten out with her sister, but her parents basically sacrificed themselves to make that happen. Once you've gone through some shit like that, ain't a whole lot that life can throw at you that you're not ready for.
