2217011, how do we measure success for 35 yo Kobe after an achilles tear?

the season he had last year was amazing, and people really
don't acknowledge how nice it was

27 6 and 6, 2nd overall in minutes played

look at some of these streaks:

Dec 2 - Jan 15

34, 39, 29, 35, 34, 42, 31, 30, 34, 30, 30, 34, 34, 40, 27, 36,
38, 29, 20, 27, 28, 23, 31

Feb 22 - Mar 8

40, 38, 29, 33, 34, 30, 42, 41...

Mar 25 - Apr 12

36, 31, 30, 19 & 14ast, 23 & 11ast, 24 & 9ast, 25 & 10ast, 30, 47, 34

now, to come back from an injury that has historically been the most
devastating for NBA players--especially players over the age of 30...

even if he's "only" 20 5 & 5 on 45% playing 30 minutes a game, that'd be good.
anything approaching his career average would be astonishing.
Nique tore his achilles in his 11th season. Kobe's came in his 17th.

so, I think 20 5 5 in 30 is a fair benchmark
