2351648, Kind of a circular argument, no? Posted by bentagain, Wed Jul-16-14 12:13 PM
"Funniest part to me is that a lot of these dudes follow teams that have been consistently mediocre and put themselves in that position by shelling out long contracts to mid-tier players creating a perpetual cycle of mediocrity. When the Lakers refuse to do that by not making any inflated offers to mid-tier players and instead abide their time in order to get superstars, it's suddenly Kobe's fault and the team is in dissaray. Lol. Management has certainly made some mistakes (Mike Brown over Adelman, D'Antoni, Kobe's contract) but this off-season isn't one of them."
The LAL have NEVER HAD TO even consider that
THEY'VE ALWAYS gotten whomever THEY wanted
let's not mix words
THEY WANTED MELO
and didn't get him
the fact that the LAL even have to consider signing lesser talent
JUST TO FILL A ROSTER
IS WHAT WE'RE F'N TALKING ABOUT HERE SON!
Please explain to me what is so different this offseason
that the LAL can't sign anybody?
no coach, 1 other player signed, and copious amounts of cap space
and they get nada
nice try throwing shade at other fanbases
as if we have somehow been unable to see the LAL attract big names annually
isn't suggesting Kobe is the reason just the simplest explanation
being that only he and Nash were even under contract when FA began?
players and coaches are choosing to go elsewhere
pretty evident, IMO
