could make a few all star gms but he's not a player who has the type of game you build a team around
I'm not exactly sure you can w/PG either but he was the best player on one of the top teams in the east so you can at least make the argument that he's *potentially* a franchise player (not an alpha dog tho)...
Kawhi is a guy who fits in where he can - some nights its his scoring- some nights his D - but he always gives great effort which is why he's such an excellent rebounder
but
don't be mislead abt who he is as a player: he is not a guy you run plays for - his offensive gm isn't quite there just yet. He may never be the BEST player on a championship caliber team. For the most part, he played well in the finals but that's largely because going into the series, he wasn't viewed as a key player you had to stop for the Spurs and he was able to play off Parker/Duncan/and Green to a degree.
PG is the definitely the better player of the two
