the only thing that would concern me here for this guy is that he might have been too goddamn dumb to even have a situation where somebody could voluntarily take the blame here.
outside of that, the grease will be flowing. this guy has a pretty major interest to protect here, i bet his buddies don't. he'll pay handsomely if it's remotely possible.
