let the media and the tv tell it, suddenly Frenchy is as important as Magic Johnson or is this a way to not have Tim Duncan higher in the all time debates?

makes no difference to me, however when the Spurs lose will they still proclaim Tony parker as highly as they are doing at the moment?

and where you got him all time right now? Frenchy got Jewelry, finals MVP, all star and getting better with each passing season.

Poll question: so really know Tony "Frenchy" Parker is suppose to be considered the 2nd Greatest PG behind Magic Johnson now?

a finals MVP and Proclaiming him a MVP canidate the past 2 years and how clutch he is.

and ask yourself John Stockton, gary Payton, Jason Kidd, Isiah thomas, Steve Nash,CP3, do they have his resume if he gets lucky and wins the chip this year?

its being asked

2193406, He has become a bit overrated.

Replace him with any quick athletic point guard that can penetrate into the lane in that almost perfect spurs system and the team is just as good. That said he is still a great player, and knows what he can do (drive, finish, decent passer), and can't do (jump shot is still very iffy, doesn't play defense).
2193580, sure. but he's deserving of the recognition he's finally getting

no way. Parker has become a dangerous midrange shooter and one of the best pick & roll PGs in the league. He's the one running that Spurs system now.
2193416, I have no idea what the fuck you're trying to say.

2193447, Tony Parker, like most football players, is hard to judge

Because he's always been under the same coach with the same core. Though his game is top notch and is a definite top 5 current PG, he still remains under the shroud of possible "system point guard" even though I personally believe he's a very portable type of guard.

His first two rings had little to do with him, though the 2007 one very much involved his brilliance. Though I believe Duncan should have been the 2007 FMVP, Parker is every bit deserving of credit for their previous championship. This Finals run will say a lot about his status as an all time great, as far as "those people" are concerned.
2193583, ^^^a lot of truth in that first paragraph
