hingis retired due to injury and so did henin
again she was 7-6 against hingis, and hingis like serena is about 32 ...
Henin owned serena in grand slam matches: 4-3, and on clay: 4-1..Henin dominated ALL of 2007..HENIN constantly broke serena's serve ...constantly
Henin announced her immediate retirement from professional tennis on 14 May 2008, and requested the Women's Tennis Association to remove her name from the rankings immediately. Her announcement was a surprise because Henin was still ranked World No. 1 and was considered the favorite for the 2008 French Open, where she would have been the 3-time defending champion. She said she felt no sadness about her retirement because she believed it was a release from a game she had focused on for twenty years. She also said that in the future, she would be concentrating on charity and her tennis school.
if henin did not have a serious knee injury, henin would still be playing, and serena would not be dominating ..Henin's short stocky body gave her a low center of gravity so she was able to stick to the ground with so much power, and cover the entire court better than serena. ..it made her extremely agile and athletic.
Serena is an all time great, but her competitors( true competition) retired due to injury
not one single player in this era has the power to deal with serena like henin, capriati and hingis.
Henin is Serena's seles.
