He simply turned to catch as EASY pass & the right side of his body was facing the basket. It actually gave him a leverage to explode to the basket (ala the Smitty move). Paul was actually playing off of him but seemed surprised that Lebron was able to catch the ball so easily that he panicked & run out toward him. LeBron made his move just as Paul got to him & thus Paul had no chance of prevent Bron from going to the basket b/c his moment was taking him in the opposite direction. The mistake was not putting his body on Lebron & playing the denial game but Vogel might have instructed them to just lay off him.
