I'm assuming that the advanced state people love Mariano,
which is why he's adored by both the old traditionalists
and the new blood

Either way, the "he has great run support" argument I keep
hearing in here is irrelevant, because he's a closer, and
by definition he only pitches when he doesn't have much of
a lead (or is behind)
