Good arm made better by his very quick release. He whistles the ball into tight spots. Goes through progressions well, and is not afraid of the check down. Solid in the pocket, although his feet can get happy and he'll start dancing around ghosts. I hate when he takes off, because he seems perpetually conflicted on whether to run, throw, slide or dive headfirst. It results in a lot of awkward scrambles, which are dangerous for his own sake.

Finished strong last season, as plenty of his throws against LSU were NFL caliber: the back shoulder fades, the first touchdown to Hopkins in a two-foot window off the ground, the third down conversion to Ford with a free rusher in his face...all impressive.
