He's got size and a decent enough arm, but right now he's a DTLG quarterback. His college performances (and "winner's mentality") are useless to me, because he has advantages playing for Alabama that no NFL team could ever duplicate in the cap era.

Every single one of his 2012 linemen will play in the league (three being first-rounders), he's played with a pair of running backs who have and will go in the top ten (Richardson and Yeldon), plus he's got a Marqise Lee clone (Amari Cooper) to throw to. Oh, and a defense that basically guarantees victory if he can put up 17 points.

I think his pocket presence is questionable -- he holds the ball way too long -- and all his reads are elementary school, because defenses play to stop Alabama's run game. Hitting play-action passes on 2nd and 4 is easy for anybody. And the thing is, he misses those too. Deep passes are often short. His LSU performance last season was abysmal; they should've won that game by two touchdowns (instead he got credit for pulling a Ben Roethlisberger special).
