2165149, If he keeps growing, he will be scary in a few years.
Posted by Castro, Sat Apr-20-13 07:23 AM
He's already scary for those teams he is playing now.
2167417, He probably won't.

2165307, Its crazy the difference of athleticism from 8th to 9th grade
Posted by ShawndmeSlanted, Sat Apr-20-13 03:16 PM
if you watch the different videos posted on nbadraftnet its stark.

Dude got a lot more explosive. In the 8th grade clips it seemed more like he played with that good CP3 balance and control, feet always under him. Then in the 9th grade Clips he got a little more of that Russy athletic but sometimes off balance.

2167416, For the wrong reasons though
Posted by Orbit_Established, Wed Apr-24-13 07:38 AM

As the canonical example of what happens when you peak
at 14 years old
2167408, Lil Beezo's team played them a few years back and he was dunking at 12.
Posted by Beezo, Wed Apr-24-13 06:28 AM
Their whole AAU team is good. Seventh is incredibly athletic, but still needs to work on other areas if his game.. As all kids do.
2167418, At best, he's Monta Ellis or JR Smith
Posted by Orbit_Established, Wed Apr-24-13 07:40 AM

Which is a HUGE compliment

Posted by -DJ R-Tistic-, Wed Apr-24-13 03:47 PM
here. I didn't say a single thing about how good he will or won't be...I just think he looks great right now. I'm not on the bandwagon, placing stocks on him, or anything...just introduced him to y'all, since I'm sure we'll at least be hearing his name in the next few years.
2279541, That's a WIN.

2167576, Weird to think he likely wears 23 after LeBron.
Posted by Ryan M, Wed Apr-24-13 11:59 AM
Since he was 5 when Bron made his NBA debut.

Just strange to think that people born in 1998 *probably* aren't wearing that number because Jordan did.
2167581, man....that is crazy

2167587, How bout this kid?

Jeff Hornacek at best, more likely a Steve Kerr. Dont think that forms gonna translate well in the pro game. Doesnt appear to play much D either.
2167595, plus, his release is waaaaay slow
Posted by the_time_is_when_god...lounge, Wed Apr-24-13 12:29 PM
2167596, he yours too.
Posted by Basaglia, Wed Apr-24-13 12:29 PM
2167591, he'll regress towards the mean.
Posted by PROMO, Wed Apr-24-13 12:26 PM
his athleticism is elite RIGHT now but as he goes up thru the ranks he'll start running into guys who match him. it's easy for him to beat those kids and elevate way over them on his jumper. it will get a little more normal as he ages.

that said, i'm no pro scout. he will still probably be a really good player.
2167760, he won't regress at all...he'll improve...so will other kids

1.5 PPG as a Freshman. I didn't pay much attention to his first year, does he have any potential at this point?
2622751, That's like 7 points per 36 tho
Posted by Ryan M, Thu Sep-14-17 04:40 PM
2622756, i knew hed be a tar heel
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Thu Sep-14-17 08:14 PM
he didnt get to play much last year through injury and being a freshman. but he was also on a national champion. this year he'll get more run.
2622758, Stopped growing, average handle and J, no true position at his size
Posted by Beezo, Thu Sep-14-17 08:39 PM

His ceiling is looking Nate Britt-y. Don't see how he plays over Felton or Williams in the next two seasons unless his game takes some serious leaps.
2622807, Agreed. He has some work to do if he wants more floor time.
