Well, Jabari was the #1 senior. He should outplay the
#1 junior.

I'm just saying that I don't want to hear about high
school titles as a real credential.

McD is a joke, but I value it because I get to see
several blue chippers on the court at one time. I'll take
that over a random high school game. A good game in it don't
mean a dude is Lebron. A bad game in it don't mean a dude is a
bum. Its a random all-star game. But now I know, for example,
that Aaron Gordon is not a real swingman. I like the way
Randle moved, liked his body control, etc. I like the twins.
I am more comfortable about that opinion now that I've seen
how they are size-wise and how they move.

State championships are great, but they mean little. Hell,
those national tournaments (which have no bearing on state
tourneys) are better measures than either the McD game or
the state championship tourneys.

the fact is
>in 2013 the mcD game has fallen pretty far down the list of
>events that determine a prospects standing in the eyes of
>scouts and coaches and GMs. you crazy if you think his 4 years
>of chicago city league ball is rendered moot and people with
>money on the line gonna go by the mcD game in determining
>jabari's ceiling.

Nah. Literally everyone loves Jabari Parker. Like, everyone.

You gonna need to do better to drum up a cause here, because
everyone likes him. They just like Wiggins a bit better.

>mcD PRACTICES and DRILLS mean more than the games, dude. the

Yep, sure did.

>like i said...you wanna see jabari v. wiggins? watch hoops
>summit in a couple weeks. i bet you centers won't be shooting
>lazy jumpers and guards won't be gunning.

I appreciate the recommendation. Will definitely be checking for it.

Doesn't mean I can't watch the McD game and say that I liked
what I saw from a few players, though.

I mean, I'm a Carmelo Anthony guy. Whether Jabari's game is more
like Pierce's or not, he's in that mold of versatile inside-out
frontcourt scorer.
