This gym holds like 3k at best, it's been a ton of fun to watch so far, this is the greatest athletic event that will ever happen to a RMU student, it's like a high school state championship atmosphere and somehow has Kentucky shook early.

I figured the first half would go as it did, and then they would just beat them down the stretch for a 7-10 point win.

Never thought a loss was even possible let alone not covering a small spread.

Also underestimated how amped the RMU crowd would be, I think it being a small arena actually made it stand out more.

but Kentucky has been especially dreadful on the road without Noel. they quit after losing him, quit in the SEC tournament, and tonight their seven foot forward had four rebounds -- quitting in the NIT is the trifecta.

Only 3 dudes tried, Archie, Polson, and Hood.

He has about 3 guys that shouldn't have schollies and don't get in games.

One player who got hurt, but never played anyway.

He didn't recruit enough players.

Now maybe because he viewed it as a bridge year and didn't want to waste schollies. Or he didn't expect everyone to go pro last year and it was too late in the game to get players for this year.

So if Ryan Harrow doesn't do what he wants, he only has a walk on as a backup pg.

If Alex doesn't rebound or take care of the ball, he has Kyle to come in. But if Kyle doesn't play defense or rebound, he puts Alex back in.

Gotta feel great for those students and players. They'll NEVER forget this moment.

I just take pleasure in watching teams that beat us lose, y'all on the list with schools like Syracuse, VCU and Michigan State, don't be upset about it, it is what it is.....

But looking at this team all year, I can't put it on his coaching ability.

I can put it on his talent evaluation though. And I read he just mentioned something in the post game about now judging players personalities.

Yeah, NOW judging personalities.

Dunking, dribbling, and shooting ain't all there is. And it seems like that's what he was doing.

You gotta get kids that will respond to coaching.

The freshman played like freshman.

And some of the kids that were counted on, didn't respond to the challenge.

This game was a great example of them not caring. And Cal was handcuffed, because he had no bench. He never has a bench, but with last year's crazy turnover it was at an all-time worst.

Its hard winning with freshman.

But STILL. These niggas outright didn't CARE.

And that's on the coach.

PERIOD.

Recently they started recruiting a pg from Kentucky.

And Cal said he's gonna have 1 on 1 meeting with each player about their future in a response to "Will Harrow be back?"

Same thing with every school

this year. not once.

that's a pretty legit team, and a weird environment to play in.

there's a reason they were only 3 point dogs.

Hell they had a better record than the cats, and was the SEC THAT much better than the NEC this year?
