For the last three years I've been on the precipice of getting my wife a Kindle for either her birthday or Christmas, only to have her say she's not into it, doesn't need one, doesn't see the point, etc...Fast forward to this last weekend, she asked me to stop by B&N to pickup a copy of Under the Dome for a book club shes in. They only have the hardcover. Shit's like 1000 pages and is going to take up a shit ton of space on our limited bookshelfs and my econ books are the easy target to be pushed out. Enough.

Head over to BB, get her a Paperwhite for "early valentines day". She hated it for 2 whole minutes and hasn't put the thing down for almost a week now.

So, sexist generalization: if you think your lady would like X piece of technology and she says "no way", she's likely wrong and just doesn't know it.
