2120508, They usually advise a few days for swelling to go down Posted by auragin_boi, Sun Jan-27-13 05:03 PM
Tomorrow will be two days so I'm going then.
>Hopefully you didn't fully hear it and surgery won't be >necessary. I had a slight tear in my MCL last summer and >luckily I didn't need surgery. Get a brace, ice that bad boy >down, elevate your knee above your heart and hope for the >best.
It could be a partial (I'm praying) but I fear the worse. I saw the play Rondo tore his on and his reaction and it's EXACTLY what happened to me.
On a landing, heel skidded out on the landing, knee buckled, I limped about 4 steps. Sat for a few cuz I thought it was a tweak, pain subsided, got up to run the next game, tried to jump/turn for a rebound...it didn't feel right. I called it a day.
Over the next 30 min swelling kicked in but I already had ice on it.
