You win there. Kobe is great but he's a corrosive ballhog when the funk hits the fan. He still needs to be coached, reminded, babysat, etc. I just think it is more obvious in his case because he's had different coaches and The Laker organization has changed quite a bit too. AND he's playing in an era where your shitty draws get shown because of coverage volume, ex-players talking more openly, etc. And Feel selling him out to sell books and his own mystique of brilliance didn't help either. AND...its kinda naked eye obvious but folks don't wanna see it cuz he's a great player with rangs, ridiculous individual performances stacked up, etc.

Still...them other cats are outlandishly flawed players in an NBA that has 'better' and younger star players with less fatal or at least less obvious weaknesses. Pau is a bitch who is stuck in the middle of a mess who probably won't ever get used properly so that him being a bitch wouldn't be so horrible...obviously. Dwight is a celebrity bball player with childlike poise who can't make free throws or short jumpers when he can't pounce on the basket...obviously. And Steve Nash is a brittle damn near 40-year old who is undersized. He also plays matador defense and hasn't played in intensely competitive/important NBA games in half a decade...somewhat obviously. And D'Antoni is a celebrity coach with a gimmick style that requires hella horses to run. And them mules they have in purple and gold can't run it.
