that goal was on mascherano for not keeping track of the run. safely heading the ball out of play should have been a fine play by puyol if not for masch not actually defending (or the backside defender not coming across--i haven't watched replays).

pique's foul and his first yellow were both undeniably dumb. valdes had a forgettable game after his announcement. still got at least 8 point lead, but not a good last couple of games for the blaugrana.
