1) Last week they played clock/field-position/risk-free because they didn't have to worry about Cinci's offense on the other side whereas today no matter how well the D plays they're gonna give up at least 21 points.
2) They're trying to get Matt Schwag's confidence back.
3) The Pats are more vulnerable to the pass than the run.
4) Trying to establish the ailing passing game early which may set up ground-and-pound later on.
