While I'd have liked to have seen AI evolve into a veteran-scoring-one-role-player type (and which he was starting to do in Philly for a brief stretch upon returning) I don't think it really would have mattered much in terms of the career he had outside public/media perception which for better or worse he's blatantly disregarded for his entire life in the spotlight.
