Obviously I wouldn't have wanted to pay him, but the prospect of having a back that could catch passes out of the backfield is enticing. They tried it some with Royster but even at that position he seems under sized. Smusher would've given you even another layer to your offense, the lightning to Alf's thunder ( which is how Bush was always supposed to be used anyway.)
