We were actually the same year at both Poly and UCLA. His brother Owen coached DL at Verbum Dei (where he coached Akeem Ayers and Justin Edison) for a while, good peoples. I remember Kevin had a big game at DT against USC the year we were robbed at the Rose Bowl (the Reggie Bush early blown down fumble game), then sprained his ankle bad the next year and was never really the same player again. I might be mistaken though, there might have been someone more recent, hell even this year we switched McReynolds and McCarthy to OL for a while, though they're both headed back to defense. We actually had a semblance of a good D-1 line when all our starters were healthy this year, but as soon as someone got hurt and Downey or Cid came in (no offense to them, they tried), we basically got blown up at the line.
