When I moved in with my then girl (now wife), I was literally moving maybe a block total. But since she was moving from like 20 miles away, I had her the movers that she hired move the majority of my stuff into my new loft. Since I have A LOT of CDs and books, doing it any other way would have sucked ass. I moved my vinyl over there myself in a few car loads, but there was no way that I could have moved the case that holds them all by myself. Shit cost $, but saved a lot of hassles.
