first off there was nothing successful about michigans day. secondly, the specific play in question was for intents and purposes unsuccessful as it was clearly stopped short of the first down marker despite a very generous spot from the refs.

thirdly, this a game thread, where aspects of said game are open for discussion. stop acting like a bitch.

You see more trick plays and fake punts/fgs in these non-BCS bowl games than you see all year. The risk and reward is minimal, might as well be a scrimmage for the most part.

on the rose bowl telecast yesterday they talked about alvarez getting extra $$ with a win.

I'm assuming this is standard issue on most coaching contracts whether bcs or not.

I did. Ordered for pickup and fought for a parking spot. People told me "2 hour wait for a table" as I walked in. The lobby was so packed that I could barely squeeze through. As I walked past table after table of $25 steaks, I thought about what a genius marketing ploy this was.

I got my food and got out of there. I got coconut shrimp and a blue cheese chopped salad too. Everything was delicious, but the the blooming onion was especially tasty, as I could practically taste the tears of wolverines fans in the grease. Later that night, as I was looking at the receipt, I realized that the bitches had actually charged me for the onion! I called them back and spoke with the owner, who refunded me the entire tab. Classy move. Thanks Outback.
