He was every bit the cocky asshole he was as a heel when he was a face. Dolphs personality won't change much at all.
Also, see Stone Cold, The Rock, Undertaker, CM Punk.... these guys were/are pretty much the same guy doing the same things more or less. This isn't the 80's. The lines are blurred and really only defined by who their opponets are.
