It's that time of the year. College Basketball is fresh and ready to tip off. And the National Champions are back ready to Re-load.

Meet this year's team:

Kyle Wiltjer: The lone contributor from last years National Champion. He's probably the best shooter in the country. He just so happens to be 6'9. I hope he works well in the post with his nifty skyhook. He needs to pick up the intensity on defense and rebounding or will be sitting next to Cal. The sky's the limit with his talent. We need to rely on him to spread the floor and open lanes for our slashers.

Ryan Harrow: He takes the steering wheel and has a lot of pressure on his head at the recent run of successful point guards wearing Big Blue. He has one advantage that the others didn't, he's not a Freshman. As a 3rd year soph who spent the entire last year sitting out learning the system and practicing against 1st round pick Marquis Teague, he's ready to hit the ground running. And I believe he will not suffer from the early season turnover bug that's plagued the last 3 pgs.

From watching him play on a limited basis, I like his game a lot. He's under control, he's fast as shit, and can shoot. He has a chance to unseat Marquis as my favorite pg of the recent cats. My only question is can he defend.

Archie Goodwin: A frosh who's a little unlike our recent wings. He reminds me of a young D-Wade. He's athletic, can handle, and has long arms. Needs to put some weight on. But he can become a heck of a defender.

Alex Poythress: Probably the biggest question mark for me, but probably the most talented. He's built like a pro already, can board, but has to work on his motor. Coach Cal should be able to motivate him. But if he gets it going, he can be the difference between the Wildcats being good and unbeatable. He can become a great defender as well. He just has to want it.

Nerlens Noel: Big Ner. The man with the Cameo. He's a straight up savage word to Tim Riggins and Benicio Del Toro. He's gonna get compared to Anthony Davis, but he's nothing like Anthony Davis. He might break his shot blocking record though. Where A.D. was pretty and graceful. Big Ner is vicious I see his offensive game progressing too. Once he realizes the level of competition, he will be a beast.

Willy Cauley-Stein: I did not know he'd be this good. He's like an embarrassment of riches. W.C.S. is huge. And a wild athlete. Played football in HS, among some other sports. He's oddly nimble and quick for a such a big man kinda like Dream when they'd talk about how soccer helped him with his game. Playing both him and Big Ner at the same time will cause so many problems for the opposition.

Julius Mays: Another transfer will provide leadership and quality shooting. All will be needed. I like to view him as a stabilizing presence.

The team is deeper than last years, but Cal will still keep the bench short, but these other cats are nice to have: Jon Hood, Twany Beckham

Conference Outlook: I see threats coming from Florida as always. And Cuonzo has something cooking. Much respect to Anthony Grant as well. Mizzou is new to the Conference and thinks they have a contender as well. They'll be in for a rude awakening.

Key Out of Conference Games: There's no more Indiana and UNC and that saddens me. Those 2 games were my favorites other than the 2 vs Florida and Louisville.

We still have Louisville on deck. We start off against Maryland, who might still be mad about the whole Harrison Twins thing. And we have Duke early too, which will be a great barometer on how good we are. Neither of those teams will face the collection of athletes we put on the floor in either game.

Prediction: We go for #9
