You could've said "playoff potential" and I would've been totally fine with that. You could'v evn said "winning a playoff game potential" and while I probably would've disagreed, I would've been totally fine with that.

"Super Bowl potential" is not realistic in this world. Perhaps if some tragedy results in the deaths of everyone on the best six to eight teams in the NFL, you could maybe use that phrase without instigating eyerolls.
