He's 46% from the field in his career, don't cherry pick stats. He wasn't healthy most of last year.
I remember when Garnett used to get criticized by a segment of fans for not being able to get out of the first round(but once...they overlooked his conf. finals run just like Melo's), and he was a better player in Minnesota than he was/is in Boston.
