I don't see have your forearms would enable you to grip anything after rowing for that amount of time. The legs and back will be burning for certain, but that's pure torture for the forearms.

Not that it's an important detail, but how will that get televised? It'll be hard to capture how rough that is on TV since ESPN or whomever will air that.
