Just me and you B9.

I almost feel like the events are "easier" this year but that day 1 triathlon and obstacle course beat a bunch of people up. First time they've had to cancel an event cause so many people were just hurting.

On Wednesday they started off with less than 24 hours ntice (athletes thought the games would begin Friday).

Event 1 Triathlon at Camp Pendleton Marine Base
700 Open water Ocean Swim
8k bike ride through some hills and sandy terrain on a single speed bike (most athletes had to carry bikes through parts)
11k Run through similar rough, hilly, sandy terrain.

Event 2 was a Camp Pendeton Obstacle Course which included balance logs, logs to jump over, walls, etc. Didnt seem too taing, but if you got far you had to run it 3 times. Guys were finishing in 38-50 seconds

Event 3: Broad Jump test (cancelled from Wednesday)
Event 4: Throwing a medicine ball off a GHD (This one seemed silly).

Event 5: A Track Triplet
3 rounds for time
8 split snatches (115/75)
7 Bar muscle ups
1 400 m run

Event 6
3 rounds for time
8 medicine ball cleans (150/80)
100 ft medicine ball carry with that same 150# or 80# med ball
7 parallette hand stand pushups
100 ft medicine bal carry with same 150# or 80# med ball

Saturday

Event 7: Shuttle sprint
Run t 50yd line and back, then run t the 100 yd line and back.

Event 8: Clean ladder
1 rep of a clean every 30 seconds with progressively heavier weights

The last event for Saturday and Sunday finals are TBA
