I'm not saying Raw is close to being pulled, but let's say WWE gets to a point where they openly say, yes TV ratings arent as important as they once were due to DVR, youtube etc...

Then ratings continue to fall and sponsors stop wanting to pay such a high price to advertise on a show nobody is watching live. The next step is USA saying: " we want our sponsorship money and we can make more of that with Monk reruns b/c their old fanbases don't use the internet"

It's tough situation because the TV network is really the one stuck in archaic ways of thinking, but they still control what gets put on the air so WWE still needs to pull in ratings that please them.
